About Golden Martini Reflections
A square composition on a black ground holds two objects: a wide martini glass on the left and a squat cocktail shaker on the right, both rendered in warm gold. The glass bowl is broken into long tapering streaks of amber and cream where light runs down the flutes, and a single green olive with a red pimento sits low in the bowl. The shaker's lid, collar and body catch bright highlights and soft brown shadows, and both objects repeat as blurred reflections in the dark polished surface beneath them.
Everything is pushed to gold and black, with the olive the only cool colour in the frame. The effect is glossy and theatrical, closer to a lit advertising photograph than a quiet still life.
Suits bars, dining rooms, kitchens and home offices, particularly dark or moody walls where the gold reads strongest. Works over a drinks trolley or sideboard, alongside brass or smoked glass, black joinery and timber stools. The square shape fits neatly between cabinetry and above a bar counter or in a hallway nook.
