Two crocus flowers in black, white and grey stand against a soft taupe background. The larger bloom sits upper left on a slender stem, its pale petals open and finely shaded. A second flower sits lower right, tilted sideways with the petals fanning out. Both look like engraved botanical studies.
Broad, glossy black leaves sweep up and across the square, some curved and some straight. Between them sits a fine ink-line sprig of small leaves and berries, drawn in a lighter, more delicate style. The word "Saffron" runs across the top right in black flowing script. The background has a faint mottled, paper-like texture.
