Two large open flowers fill the upright format, a bigger bloom at upper left and a smaller one lower right. Their petals are built from loose, broad strokes of crimson, scarlet and orange, with patches of violet and soft blue where the petals curl back. Fine pale outlines trace a few edges, and short cream stamens mark each centre.
Behind them the ground is a warm cream, scraped and streaked with vertical marks of tan and faint lilac, with a bright glow behind the top flower. Slim green and olive stems and blade-like leaves run up the left side, and two closed buds sit at the top. The look is a contemporary floral in a loose, textured brush style, with a small signature in the lower right corner.
