Two large red poppies lean in from the left on thin olive-green stems, their ruffled petals shaded from bright scarlet to deeper crimson with dark, tufted black centres. The front bloom sits near the middle of the square, while the second is partly cropped by the left edge. Fine cracks and specks mark the petals.
The background is a layered collage in a digital, textured style. Lines of looping handwritten script run across a grey-beige upper area and a burnt-orange band below. On the right, three stacked panels hold a carved rosette in a square, a brown scrolling flourish on cream, and a damask pattern in grey and tan.
