Loose, broad brushstrokes form a scatter of flowers across a warm cream ground. Reds sit at the top left and centre, burnt orange and amber blooms gather at the top right and far left, and a soft peach flower with a red centre sits low in the lower left of the frame.
Sage green, grey-blue and olive leaves are dabbed between the blooms, with small touches of yellow and teal. The edges of each petal dissolve into the pale background, and the paint looks dry and scumbled. It reads as an abstract floral in an impressionist, painterly style, with no hard outlines.
