Seven feathers drift across a plain, warm white ground, each tilted at a different angle. The largest sits top left, its tan vane streaked with teal and dotted with black spots along the upper edge. Another large feather runs along the bottom right, its barbs grading from olive to deep teal with bold black bars.
A bright cobalt blue feather sits on the right edge, with soft streaks of pale and dark blue. A small barred feather lies lower left, and a speckled brown and grey one sits in the centre right. Washes bleed softly, with fine dry-brush edges. The palette stays muted: tan, olive, slate, teal and blue.
