A single sea urchin shell fills most of the square, shown from above in tan and gold. Its surface is covered in raised round bumps arranged in rows that radiate from a dark central opening. The shell has a soft, slightly blurred edge and sits over a faint pale halo.
The background looks like old plaster or paper, in cream and pale green-grey with chips, cracks and faint vertical streaks. Small pale starfish sit in the top left and lower right, and striped sea snail shells appear near the top right edge. The mix of flaking texture and muted colour gives a worn, faded, collected-from-the-beach feel.
