About Princess Cat
A cat's face fills the canvas against flat black, tilted slightly so one ear rises yellow and green at the top left while the other spreads hot pink with a yellow inner panel at the right. A small green crown with red and white dots hovers between the ears. The muzzle is painted lemon yellow and scattered with green stars, the nose bridge turquoise with pink and yellow stripes, and the eyes are wide with pale blue irises and black pupils.
Dots, small daisies, red stars and a blue spiral are dropped across the black background and along the outlines, and short flicked brushstrokes suggest fur at the cheeks and ear edges. The mood is playful and graphic, closer to street-art poster work than a traditional pet portrait.
Good in a child's or teenager's bedroom, a playroom, a hallway with white walls, or a kitchen nook that needs one bright note.
