About Snowy River Sunset
A wide stretch of still river water fills the lower two thirds of the frame, broken only by low ripples that catch apricot and blue light. Near the centre sits a bleached dead tree, its bare limbs reaching up like antlers, reflected in a broken column on the surface below. On the left a dark treed headland runs down to a pale sand spit, with a narrow far shoreline continuing to the right edge. The sky graduates from clear blue at the top through soft peach and rose at the horizon.
The mood is quiet and open, the kind of last-light stillness where the water barely moves. The single skeletal branch gives the calm surface a focal point without crowding it.
Suits bedrooms, coastal and beach house living rooms, and home offices where a calm horizon line helps. Sits well above a bedhead or a low sideboard, and pairs with pale timber, linen, rattan and white walls.
