A close photograph of one yellow tulip, its closed petals filling the centre of the frame. The petals overlap in a sharp V-shaped seam near the top, and fine vertical veins run down each surface in a deeper golden tone. The bloom is in crisp focus while everything around it softens.
Behind the central tulip, more yellow tulips melt into a blurred wash of butter and lemon tones. A short green stem shows at the bottom edge, the only cool note in the frame. Light falls gently across the petals, giving a smooth glow with pale highlights along the folds.
