A tall stone aqueduct crosses the right side of the poster, its pointed arches glowing a warm sandy yellow with rust-orange shadows inside each opening. Behind it, grassy hills roll upward in bands of bright and deep green, with a rocky outcrop breaking through the slope on the right.
A large russet-brown fortress with square corner towers sits on the crest of the hill against a pale blue sky. Dark green trees with orange-gold leaves fill the foreground. A cream-green panel along the bottom reads "SPOLETO" and "VMBRIA" in dark serif capitals, flanked by small bundle-shaped emblems dated 1927 and with ANNO V.
