A square black and white photograph of dark, rounded rocks scattered across shallow water. The rocks are clustered in the middle distance and thin out towards the foreground, where the water is smooth and pale, with soft reflections beneath the nearest boulders.
The long exposure has turned the sea to glass and pulled the clouds into fine horizontal streaks. A low, bright horizon line sits just above the rocks, and the sky darkens towards the top of the frame. The tones run from deep charcoal to soft misty grey.
