Heavy grey-purple cumulus clouds fill the middle of this photograph, their dark undersides lit along the edges by light from below. Higher up, thinner brown and cream cloud streaks across the frame, with a small patch of blue sky showing at the upper right.
Below the clouds a band of orange and gold light sits along the horizon, fading into a low haze. The sea in the foreground is dark steel blue, with rolling waves and white foam lines running toward the beach. The warm, slightly faded tones give it a moody, cinematic feel.
