A single sunflower faces the camera head-on, filling most of the frame. Its bright yellow petals radiate evenly around a dense disc of tiny seeds in a spiral pattern, brown at the edges and shifting to fresh green at the middle. Fine water droplets sit on a few petals.
The background is a soft blur of deep teal and navy leaves, with a second yellow bloom just out of focus in the top left corner. The cool blue backdrop makes the yellow glow, and the sharp focus on the seed head gives this photograph a crisp, close-up feel.
