Three tulips rise through the frame in soft watercolour. Two sit high, one a pale lemon yellow with an open cup at the top right, the other a rounder golden head at left. A third, lower bloom at centre left glows apricot with a streak of red along its petals.
The background is a loose wash of violet, magenta and blue, broken by angular leaf shapes in mint green, teal and peach. Pigment pools and bleeds at the edges, and bare paper shows through as white highlights on the petals. Slim green-gold stems cross the lower half. A small signature sits at the bottom right.
