Sweet pea flowers climb through the centre of a square, cream background that looks lightly aged and flecked. A cluster of deep pink blooms rises at upper right, with buds at the tip, while a group of soft apricot flowers sits low on the left. Green stems and broad leaves join them, and fine tendrils curl across the page.
The word "Sweet Pea" runs across the top in a looping brown script, partly overlapped by the flowers. The right edge is a vertical band of tan and cream harlequin diamonds. The style is a soft botanical illustration with gentle shading in the petals, and the palette is pink, apricot, sage green and warm beige.
