A single cheetah stands side-on in the middle of a tall oval, its head turned towards us with a steady, alert look. The coat is drawn in fine pen lines and dense black spots, and the long tail hangs down to a dark-tipped end. It stands on a low mound of scratchy grass and loose earth.
The oval is surrounded by a heavy baroque frame in near-black brown, crowded with scrolls, shells and pierced curls, with a beaded inner edge. Behind it the whole sheet is a worn tangerine orange, with creases, mottling and darker patches at the edges like old paper. There is no lettering anywhere on the print.
