About The Teal Half Moon
A single rough-edged circle of deep teal sits in the middle of a square, pale grey field. Inside the disc the teal deepens to near-black at the edges and lightens to a clouded green around the centre, scattered with small white specks that read as stars. A grey-white moon, lit on its lower left and shaded on the upper right, overlaps the middle of the circle, its craters visible as soft grey mottling across the bright surface.
The surrounding background is a washed concrete grey, marked with faint blotches, scuffs and a darker, uneven border that frames the composition like aged plaster. The overall character is quiet and graphic: one bold shape, one glowing moon, and a lot of still, textured space around them.
Works in a bedroom above a bed or a home office above a desk, where the grey ground keeps it calm. The teal suits beach house interiors, timber furniture and linen bedding, and it sits well beside concrete, white walls or charcoal joinery.
