Three small sailboats sit side by side on flat, bright turquoise water. The left hull is burnt orange, the middle one is white and the right is a yellow hull with a dark stripe along its waterline. Thin white masts rise well above them, and their pale reflections stretch down into the bay in soft vertical streaks.
Behind the boats, a low grey-green headland runs across the horizon, with a pale rocky outcrop jutting in from the right. Above it, the sky is a deep, heavy blue with broad, textured strokes. A band of darker navy water crosses the bottom corner. The surface looks thick and layered, like an oil-style canvas, and the format is square.
