Three butterflies are stacked down a cream page, each shown with one side fully coloured and the other side left as a pale outline. At the top, a black-winged butterfly with a red spot and small blue dots has its right wings washed in soft mint green. Fine red veins run through the wings, and a ribbed dark body sits at the centre.
In the middle, a coral-orange butterfly with a red-dotted edge, and below it a large blue one with black spots across its wings. Their uncoloured wings are drawn in thin grey line. The header reads "Lepidoptères", "Pl. 24." and "8. C.". At the foot: "1. Euplæa Eunice", "2. Danais Gilippus" and "3. Idea Daos". Small engraver credits sit in the lower corners.
