A large cartoon bear fills the lower right of the poster, grinning widely with its eyes turned to the side and one thumb raised. Its fur is a deep chocolate brown with fine sketched hatching. The lettering across the top reads "Great Smoky Mountains" in a swooping brush script, with "MOUNTAINS" in cream capitals on a dark banner.
Behind the bear, layered hills step back in burnt orange and rust beneath a pale cream sun, with two small birds flying above. A single green pine stands at left, and a small badge below it reads "I love EAST TN" with a red heart. A thin red-orange border frames the scene on an aged cream margin, giving a mid-century travel poster feel.
