Three lobed leaves on long dark stems overlap one another against a plain white background. Each leaf is semi-transparent, so the veins of the leaves behind show through the ones in front, like an X-ray image. The leaf shapes look like tulip tree leaves, with broad, notched tips.
The colour moves from pale grey-green at the top to a deeper, warmer green in the lower right leaf. Veins are drawn in near-black green and branch finely from the central rib. Where the leaves cross, the tone darkens to slate. A small handwritten signature sits in the bottom left corner.
