A green sea turtle swims left to right across the frame, its head turned slightly toward the viewer. The shell is olive and mustard with darker ridges, and the front flippers show a fine pattern of dark scales. One flipper reaches up behind the head, the other sweeps out to the right.
The water grades from pale turquoise near the sandy bottom to deep blue at the top, where bright ripples of surface light scatter across the corner. Pale, lumpy coral heads fill the lower left and the left edge, with more coral dotted across the seabed. It is a clear, sharp underwater photograph.
