A portrait travel poster in flat, graphic shapes. The headline "VALLETTA" runs across the top in tall, thin white capitals on a pale blue sky, with "MALTA" in smaller blue-violet letters tucked below at right. Soft white clouds sit behind the rooftops, and the sky is a single clean blue with no gradient.
The middle of the print is a honey-coloured waterfront of stacked limestone buildings with small square windows. A large ribbed dome in teal and blue rises at centre with a lantern and cross, and a slim green spire on a stone tower stands to its right. Purple shadows fall across the bastion walls. Five small white sailboats sit on the teal harbour water along the bottom, which has pale streaks of light. The look is mid-century tourism art.
