A tall portrait poster dominated by a vast red-orange cloth held up by two outstretched arms, the fabric draping in heavy folds down the whole centre of the sheet. Only a pair of eyes shows above the top edge, peering out from a dark gap beneath a hooded fold. Yellow-orange highlights glow through the lower folds, and a pair of feet just shows at the hem.
Across the top, yellow capital letters read "POURPRE ANTIQUE" on a near-black ground. A black band at the base carries "UN PARFUM....DE LUZY" in the same yellow serif lettering. Behind the figure the background shifts from black to deep blue with streaky vertical strokes. A signature and the date 1921 sit at the right, in the early 1920s French advertising style.
