A single large flower fills most of the portrait frame, shown face-on against a flat, saturated red background. The outer petals are layered in violet and lilac, with soft brushy streaks that run along each petal and darker purple pooling toward the lower left.
At the centre, the petals turn to a deep cobalt blue with finely pleated, crimped edges that fan outward. A cluster of tiny cream and white dots sits in the middle like a speckled stamen head. The texture reads as visible brushwork, and the red, blue and purple contrast sharply.
