A long-exposure photograph of a still bay at sunrise. The water takes up the lower two thirds of the frame and has been smoothed to a soft, glassy surface that shifts from pale peach near the horizon to deep violet at the bottom edge. There are no waves or visible ripples.
A dark purple range of hills runs across the horizon, with a bright yellow and orange glow sitting low in a dip between two peaks. Above it the sky moves from orange to pink to lavender and pale blue, with a few thin streaks of cloud at the top right. A handful of small boats sit at anchor on the left of the horizon.
