A weathered cream birdhouse with two stacked storeys and crackled paint fills the centre of the image. Round black entry holes sit on each level, and one small sunflower is set between them on the lower wall. Two black crows face each other at the base, beaks almost touching, with green leaves tucked beneath their feet.
Large sunflowers with dark brown centres and golden petals surround the birdhouse, some cropped by the edges. The background is a warm mottled amber. A worn timber ledge runs along the bottom, carrying the word WELCOME in tall dark brown capitals. The look is flat, graphic folk-style illustration with a distressed finish.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
