A tall, narrow, charcoal-brown vase stands slightly left of centre, and two large white blooms tip out of the top, one at the upper edge of the vase and one drooping lower on the left. Each flower is built from thick, flat strokes of cream and grey paint with a small olive-green centre. Olive leaf blades and thin black stems sweep out to the right.
Behind the vase, the background splits into soft vertical bands of taupe and dark brown on the left and a pale blush-white field on the right. Three loose white petals rest on the glossy grey-brown surface in front, each with a soft shadow beneath. The thick, ridged texture of the paint gives the flowers a sculpted, palette-knife look. A red signature sits in the lower right corner.
