A still pond fills the lower centre of this countryside scene, holding warm yellow reflections from the sky and the houses behind it. On the left a large weeping willow hangs in long green strands. Beyond the water, a cluster of cream and ochre farmhouses with orange and slate-grey roofs sits against a rising hillside.
Two tall cypress trees stand beside the houses, and a leafy tree with a slender trunk rises on the right. Autumn orange and red foliage glows at the upper left. Pink and purple wildflowers dot the bank in the foreground. Clouds break over a blue sky with golden light. The brushwork is thick and textured, in an impressionist style.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
