About Amber Parrot Tulip
One open parrot tulip fills the upper half of the canvas, its petals fanned wide and curling back at the edges. The petals are painted in washes of amber, caramel and pale sepia, with fine darker lines tracing each vein so the flower looks partly translucent, almost like an X-ray print. Below the bloom a near-black stem curves down the centre of the canvas, crossing two long ribbon leaves that bend away to the left and right. The background is a flat, softly blended pale grey-green with no horizon or detail.
The character is quiet and graphic: a single flower treated as a line drawing in warm brown, with thin, smooth paint and no heavy texture. It reads as calm and restrained rather than decorative or bright.
Suits a hallway, bedroom or dining room where a tall narrow wall needs one vertical accent. The warm brown against grey works with oak, rattan and linen, and with walls in white, putty or soft sage. Hang as a pair or trio of botanicals, or alone above a console or bedhead. Browse more floral art, all hand-painted oil paintings.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
