About Super Nova Ink Flow
A portrait-format abstract built from flowing ink washes. Deep violet and indigo gather down the left edge, breaking into fine dark veins near the top corner, while soft magenta and pink drift across the upper right and pool again at the lower edge. Through the centre runs a broad band of warm grey and white, crossed by pale blue and threaded with hairline tide marks where one wash has dried against another. The whole surface reads as vertical drift, top to bottom.
The texture is all in the ink itself: feathered edges, pooled darker rims, mottled grey patches like weathered stone, and thin capillary lines that branch outward from the purple masses. Nothing is hard-edged, and the white of the canvas is left open through the lower middle so the colour appears to float. Its character is calm but slightly electric, cool and restrained until the violet flares.
Suits a bedroom above the bedhead, a bathroom or ensuite wall, or a home office where the cool purples read as quiet rather than loud. Works against white, pale grey or soft lilac walls, and pairs with chrome or brushed nickel fittings, marble and terrazzo surfaces, linen bedding and light timber furniture.
