How do I order online?
Click the artwork you'd like, choose your size, and our secure checkout will offer you payment methods. You can place orders 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is included in the price — delivery is free Australia-wide, with no hidden fees.
Who delivers my order, and how long does it take?
We deliver to your door via Australia Post or courier. If you're not home, a card will point you to a local pick-up point. Prints arrive in roughly 10–14 days; hand-painted paintings take about 21–28 days — painted by hand by professional artists, so well worth the wait.
What forms of payment do you accept?
All major credit cards (via PayPal), plus direct bank deposit, cheque or money order made out to Direct Art Australia. Contact us for our bank details if you'd like to pay by direct deposit.
What's the difference between your oil paintings and prints sold elsewhere?
Many "paintings" sold online are simply printed images of paintings. Our oil paintings are genuinely hand-made on canvas by talented individual artists.
Will the painting look exactly like the picture on the website?
Very close. Because each piece is hand-painted, slight variations in colour and detail are natural — and monitors can shift colours slightly. Our prints are printed from the exact image you see.
Why are your prices so low?
We specialise in hand-painted art and carry no expensive gallery overheads — so we pass the savings straight to you, often at less than the price of a print.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes — we accept international orders.
Is your artwork made in Australia or overseas?
We work with suppliers in Australia and overseas. Paintings are painted by our artists, sculptures are sent from within Australia, and prints come from a mix of Australian and overseas suppliers.
