About Nail Polish Abstract E II
A portrait composition built from poured, marbled ink shapes floating on a bare white ground. A dense slate-blue mass settles through the lower right, broken by small white droplets and cell-like holes where the pigment has separated. Above it, soft grey veils sweep down from the top edge, laced with fine dark lines that trail like threads. Butter yellow and pale cream run along the left side and through the centre, curving into thin ribbons and one bright gold blot near the right margin.
The character is fluid and unplanned: liquid colour left to find its own edges, calm in palette but restless in movement, with plenty of empty white space around it.
Suits bedrooms, bathrooms and dining rooms with white or pale grey walls, where the empty canvas space keeps the room feeling open. It works above a timber sideboard or bedhead, and pairs with brass or gold hardware, navy linen, cream upholstery and other contemporary abstracts in the same blue and yellow range.
