A portrait-format abstract landscape built from thick, textured strokes. The lower two thirds is a field of ochre and straw-yellow grass, with clusters of burnt orange and red blooms rising from the foreground in vertical, scraped marks. Patches of cream and white break through the middle ground like light on dry stalks.
A slim blue river winds back from the right edge toward a pale glow at the horizon, flanked by darker green and olive banks. Above it a heavy navy sky fades to soft grey-blue near the skyline, with cloudy, dabbed texture. The warm field against the cool sky gives strong contrast, and the surface looks like layered, palette-knife style paint.
