About Australia Waterfall
A wide curtain of water falls across the full width of the frame, blurred into soft vertical streaks by a long exposure so the cascade reads as milky white and pale blue. In front of it stands a single slender gum, its thin trunk leaning left and its open canopy of small leaves caught in sharp detail against the moving water. Dark basalt ledges break the falls on the right, stacked in blocky layers and draped with wet moss, ferns and trailing green growth.
The lower third holds boulders, a shallow rocky stream and clumps of bracken fern. Cool blue light dominates, giving the scene a still, almost moonlit quality despite the volume of water in motion.
Suits a living room with grey or charcoal sofas, a bedroom where the cool blue reads as calm, or a home office wall that needs depth. Works with timber furniture, linen in oatmeal or slate, black metal lamps and indoor greenery such as ferns or a fiddle leaf fig.
