A row of tall towers stands against a pale, hazy sky that fades from grey-green at the top to warm cream near the skyline. Each building is built from thick, patchy strokes of blue-grey, rust, ochre and white, so the glass faces read as broken, shifting colour rather than clean lines.
In front, a dense bank of autumn trees fills the middle of the image in yellow, burnt orange, deep red and flecks of green, with a few bright red dabs. Below them a grey-blue pond holds soft, streaked reflections of the towers. The surface has a visible linen-like weave and heavy, textured brushwork.
