A black and white photograph of a harvested paddock. Stubble stands in the foreground as thousands of pale, thin stalks, each one catching the light against dark soil at the bottom edge. Behind it the ground rises into a soft, gently striped hill, with round hay bales scattered across the slope.
The sky takes up the upper half of the frame and is almost solid black, so the hill reads as a narrow lit band along the horizon. Small bales sit in clusters on the skyline, with a few closer to the centre and left. The contrast is strong, with bright stubble, mid-grey slope and deep shadow above.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
