A white gabled barn with a grey roof stands on the right edge of the scene, its closed door facing the viewer. Behind it a line of green trees fills the horizon. On the far left, two more farm sheds sit in the distance, one with a pale curved roof and one with a flat grey roof, set against dark bushes.
The foreground is built from broad, flat bands of colour: sage and bottle green, slate blue, grey and a dusty teal. Patches of ochre, rust red and bright turquoise run across the middle field. The sky is streaked with blue and cream, and a tall dark pine stands at the left. The brushwork looks loose and layered, like a painting.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
