A black chandelier hangs from the top centre of a square frame, drawn as a flat silhouette. Four candle-style arms with small flame-shaped bulbs curve outwards, and loops of beaded drops hang from the crown and the lower arms. The speckled edges of the black give it a stencilled, photocopied look.
Behind it, large white acanthus leaves and curling scrolls sweep diagonally across a mid-grey background, some passing in front of the black metalwork. The palette is only black, white and grey. The overlapping damask pattern and the chandelier give a Baroque, drawing-room feel in a modern graphic style.
