About Bird Woman Face Wall Art Print
A woman's face in side profile sits at the right of the frame, built entirely from long sweeping strokes of colour. The same strokes stream left across the canvas like hair caught in wind, layering cobalt and teal over lime, gold, orange and violet. Between the upper and lower bands of colour, the bare white background is left open and reads as the silhouette of a bird with a pointed wing and tail. Fine ridged lines run through every strand, giving the colour a combed, fibrous texture.
The effect is graphic and high-contrast: saturated rainbow colour against flat white, with a clear negative-space trick that rewards a second look.
