A cream silhouette of the Eiffel Tower rises up the left edge, cropped at the base, with lattice cut-outs showing the black ground behind. Across the top, "Bistro" is written in loose cream script above "PARISIENNE" in wide gold capitals with a worn, metallic look.
The centre is crossed by faded handwriting and a large looping signature, "L. Hattiger", beside a small "21" and "Faubourg de France". Near the bottom runs "20. RUE DE LA GARE. 20." in gold. A crest with a ribbon sits at the lower right, and gold flourishes fill the corners. The black surface is scuffed and stained, like an aged shop card.
