About Blue Section
Washes of teal, aqua and turquoise are divided by two dark vertical bars, like light through a window, and where they cross a burst of bright blue, orange and red splashes outward as if something had just landed there. A block of white sits to the left, a band of rust and brown along the bottom, and everything is scraped and glazed so the colours show through each other.
It is a cool, watery abstract with one warm surprise in it, and that contrast is what makes it hold a wall.
