About Blue Serenity
The canvas is divided just below centre by a thin dark grey-brown line that reads as a distant shoreline. Above it, horizontal bands of turquoise, aqua and soft grey drift across the upper half, broken by pale cream and warm ivory near the right where light seems to gather. Below the line, lavender-grey gives way to steadily deeper blues, ending in a strong teal-blue band along the lower edge. Every band is laid in long horizontal strokes with the paint dragged sideways.
Brushwork stays loose and scraped, with dry-brush streaks letting lower layers show through and small flecks of white breaking the surface like spray. The character is calm and open: a seascape reduced to light, water and one quiet horizon.
Suits bedrooms, bathrooms and coastal-style living rooms where the palette leans white, pale timber and linen. It works above a low sideboard or bedhead, and pairs with rattan, blue-grey upholstery and brushed nickel or chrome fittings.
