A round boulder is wedged between two tall granite cliff faces, hanging over a deep drop. A single person in a teal top and dark trousers sits on top of it, leaning back with their face tilted towards the sky. The figure is small against the rock, which gives the scene a strong sense of scale and height.
The rock on both sides is grey and weathered, with pale lichen and patches of green moss along the ledges. Far below, a strip of dark water and distant forested slopes show through the gap. Soft cloud fills the sky in warm cream and grey, with light breaking through at the horizon. This is a colour photograph with a square format.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
Great painting. Brightens up my living room.
