About Bright Coconut Palm
Two coconut palms rise from the bottom edge of a plain white ground, their trunks crossing near the base and separating as they climb. Each trunk is built from short horizontal bands of red, teal, yellow, pink, black and cream, stacked like beads. The taller crown sits high on the composition with fronds fanning out in green, orange, turquoise and magenta; the second, lower crown leans to the right with looser, more open leaves. Small flecks and dashes of colour scatter across the white background like confetti.
The character is graphic and cheerful: a simple tropical subject reduced to stripes, fans and flicks of pure colour. Loose white texture and stray marks around the edges keep it lively rather than flat.
Suits kids' rooms, nurseries and teen bedrooms, coastal living rooms and bright hallways. The white ground works against white or pale grey walls and light timber furniture, while the striped trunks pick up cushions and rugs in red, teal or yellow.
