A wide blue river bends through a narrow gorge, seen from a high bank. Steep hills close in on both sides, layered in teal, emerald and olive green, with a pale cream sky showing between the farthest ridges. Low islands of dark scrub and a pale green sandbar break up the water, and the surface turns almost white where it catches the light.
In the foreground, three tall, slim spires rise from a bank of rounded shrubs. Each one fades from deep purple at the base to a glowing orange-yellow tip. Around them the bushes are daubed in green, rust, ochre and violet. The brushwork is thick and visible, and the strong colour and dark shadowed rock on the left give the scene a vivid, impressionist look.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
