About Brisbane City Sunrise
A wide elevated view across Brisbane taken just before sunrise. The upper third is clear graduated sky, deep blue at the top softening through apricot to a hot orange band along the horizon. Low cloud sits in dark grey clumps across that band, catching pink underneath. Below, the CBD towers rise in a tight cluster, their windows lit gold and white, with red aviation beacons burning on the tallest rooftops. Suburban streets spread out to the edges as scattered orange and white pinpoints.
The character is quiet and still: a city fully lit but empty-looking, held between night and morning, with warm light doing all the work.
The long horizontal format suits the wall above a sofa, a bed head or a sideboard. Warm orange reads well against grey, navy or charcoal walls and timber furniture, and the dark lower half keeps it calm in a bedroom.
