A single oval wax seal sits centred on a plain white background. The wax is a deep burgundy red, with a slightly wavy, uneven outer edge where it has spread, as if pressed onto paper. A soft shadow beneath the seal lifts it off the white and gives it weight.
Inside a raised oval rim, an ornate script monogram of the letters A and E is pressed into the wax, with a small fleur-de-lis style flourish below. The lettering is embossed rather than coloured, so it shows only through light and shade. The finish is smooth and glossy, a digital rendering rather than a photograph.
