About Dark Matter
Colour spreads outward from the middle of the canvas as though poured and tilted. A hot magenta oval sits just above centre, edged with pale pink and softened into a wash of cool grey on the right. Deep cobalt and navy run diagonally from the upper left corner and again across the lower half, carrying thin black filaments that fray into feathered tips. Mint green pools fill the top centre and the base, separated by more pink. Edges are wet and bleeding rather than drawn, with no hard outlines anywhere.
The character is fluid and weightless, closer to ink in water than brushwork. It reads as one quick movement of colour caught mid-spread.
Works in a white or pale grey living room where the wall needs one point of colour, above a low sideboard or a bed with plain linen. It pairs with blonde timber, chrome or glass and picks up teal or pink cushions. Good for a hallway end wall or a home office behind a desk.
